A man has been taken to hospital after falling from a motorway bridge over the M27 in Hampshire, prompting a major police-led closure of the route between junctions 2 and 3.
Emergency services were called shortly before 11am on 3 September 2026 after reports that a man had fallen from a bridge onto the westbound carriageway of the M27.
Police and paramedics quickly attended the scene, and the individual was transported to hospital for treatment. His current condition has not been publicly disclosed.
